The Looks of Naomi Campbell
Even with all the drama controversy Naomi Campbell still manages to look polished and chic.
Naomi was the first black model to appear on the covers of Time magazine, as well as the French and BritishVogue. Her behavior has caused a lot of controversy but it has not damaged her career. The 40 something model is still in demand. She has admitted to making mistakes in the way she has handled a few situations but she says she will use them to learn from and hopefully do better next time.
Naomi has been involved in another bit of controversy. This time it was about an ad by Cadbury for Dairy Milk Bliss candy bar. Cadbury apologized to Ms Campbell and said it meant no offense.
Naomi was quoted as saying;
"It's upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me but for all black women and black people," she said. "I do not find any humour in this. It is insulting and hurtful."

She's definitely one fierce lady! I don't think Cadbury ad was meant to offend her at all, I think they just made an honest mistake in order to get attention. xoxoxoo
ReplyDeleteI agree. I don't think they were being vicious, just kind of tongue in cheek humor at Naomi's expense. No matter, Naomi's is a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry and she has staying power!!
